What is the CCP?
The Creatures Community Project (CCP) is a metaroom built by
collaboration--anyone who is willing to help is welcome. The goal of the
project is to build a top-quality metaroom for C3/DS, and to teach those
with a will to learn the required development skills.
In the CCP, there's a place for everyone who's willing to devote some
of their time to helping out. If you know CAOS, have skills with any
graphics program, are talented at sound production or can draw and and are
willing to listen and take (constructive!) criticism, then you are doubly
welcome. If you have any of these skills and are willing to lend a hand to
others willing to learn, you are triply welcome.
If you are looking to learn one of the aforementioned skills, the CCP
is a great opportunity to do so. You'll learn a skill you can possess for
life, and put to good use for other Creatures- or non-Creatures-related
projects of your own devising. And you'll have fun learning it, as a bonus.
Even if you don't want to learn, or know one of these skills and are
interested in helping out, but don't have enough time to apply those
skills, you can simply provide ideas. We'll need to get the ideas flowing
thick and fast, and we'll also need to prune those ideas out to the ones
that will work with everything else, and which everyone (or almost
everyone) agrees with.
